Event | Dubai Shopping Festival MarketOTB - Part I

Market OTB (Outside The Box) is back and its second edition is a must attend during the 20th Dubai Shopping Festival anniversary celebrations. Check out what to expect at MarketOTB and why it is a not-to-be-missed event.
Taking place at South Ridge Park in Downtown Dubai from the 15th to 24th of Jan, the location is easily accessible by car, taxi, public buses and on foot from the Dubai Mall metro station. MarketOTB brings to you a unique set up made of refurbished shipping containers used as stalls to showcase and promote regional talents across fashion, jewelry, art and interiors.
To all mothers out there thinking twice about attending MarketOTB, this is a child friendly event. There is an area exclusively for kids to try their hands at art and crafts hosted by JamJar, an exclusive ramp custom created for skating enthusiasts by Rage, mini fun fair rides and an outdoor cinema. List of activities during the event and their timings can be found at the bottom of this post.
But first, stop by Raw Coffee to try out a piping hot cup of their Mocha Latte and Banana with Oat flakes muffins to get you all energized for the retail therapy session.

The West L. A. pop-up store at MarketOTB had one of the trendiest set up at the Market. They stock Accessories, Clothes, Shoes, Homeware and what not. Stop by their stall for some L.A. love.
Another one.. Couldn't resist. They bring jars full of inspiration.
Baembu (Bæm'bu:/) brings to you thin mattress pad made of soft bamboo charcoal fibers which is developed through their patented nanotechnology. Why is this new and unique? These mattress help you to sleep better, reduces allergies, migraines, fatigue and much more. Check them out for more details for a sound nights sleeps.
Caught the man behind Thorsten’s Threads' in action crocheting away some funky beanies. These rainy cool days in Dubai calls for some warm and colorful beanies.

Found these beauties at the Boom & Mellow. Feast your eyes here and drop by their stall to add some arm candies to your collection and other colorful accessories too.

One of my favorite stalls were also present. Monroe and Me brings some stylish and affordable designs to the stylish crowd in Dubai.
So much of classic Bollywood and Hollywood at one stop. Vikki Shop has so many unique products to browse through, ranging from home decor, accessories, dining and stationery.
I took my own sweet time checking out the items at this stall. You can see why.
I so wish we had one of these growing up. Similar to glambox for all glam girls out there, The Happy Box is a subscription to a monthly delivery of a box filled with fun activities a child can indulge in with their parents or guardians.
Sable Et Soie (Sand and Silk) brings to you young and flirty beach and resort wear collection along with some trendy beach accessories. Time to stock up for the summer of 2015.
