Did you know this glass slipper worn by Lilly James in the upcoming live-action remake of the classic fairytale Cinderella, is produced by Swarovski in collaboration with Academy Award winning costume designer Sandy Powell. To celebrate the release of the movie, Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has enlisted 9 luxury shoe designers to recreate the magic of the famed glass slipper.


Each designer has added a touch of their own imagination to bring us a version of the shoes embellished with Swarovski crystals.

Didier Vanneste, SVP & Country head MENA from The Walt Disney Company has aptly said, "Cinderella's glass slipper has become a magical symbol of transformation. Each pair of shoes in this exciting global collection captures Cinderell'a elegance and grace through the lens of celebrated designers, making this shoe collection truly fit for a princess."

Lucky for us UAE residents, these shoes will be exclusively exhibited at the Level Shoe District - Dubai Mall from the 11th to the 24th of March, 2015.
