Mo’minaat is a family run Abaya brand which has all the ingredients of wisdom, love and creativity brought together by a Father-Mother-Daughter trio.
Meet Huda Yaqub, the designer and creative talent behind Mo'minaat.
A glance or a photograph does not do enough justice to these abayas. You must touch and feel the abayas to know what luxurious materials and embellishments are used to create each abaya. The designs are tested out for a month or two to ensure that it drapes well, the fit and what other retail abaya stores forget, to check wear and tear.
Mo'minaat has a variety of designs and cuts in store, however one particular design that caught my eye was the Chaadar cut. Chaadar loosely translated means shawl. Chaadar abayas is quite unique to Mo'minaat with its origins in Pakistan. The cut is similar to a poncho but modestly covers you up.
